**Opposition Set to Decide on Protest Movement After Eid: Fazlur Rehman**

**ISLAMABAD:** JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has announced that opposition parties will convene after Eid to determine the course of a protest movement against the government, ARY News reported.

Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Fazlur Rehman said the prime minister is inviting for Iftar, “why we could not talk over the national issues”.

He noted a decrease in strained relations with the PTI, adding, “the PTI should take notice if someone of them issuing statements against me”.

Despite ongoing discussions, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) are still working to solidify their opposition alliance, with lingering differences remaining.

Sources indicate that the JUI has raised concerns about PTI’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur.

While both parties have been in contact over recent months, a formal working relationship has yet to be established.

Fazlur Rehman also commented on Nawaz Sharif’s potential influence in the current political climate, stating, “If Nawaz Sharif thinks the government in one province is enough for his party, where the remaining part of the country will go”.

When questioned about the issue of dacoits in Sindh, the JUI chief suggested that the emergence of bandits in the region is a reactive phenomenon.
