**Tragedy in Badin: Land Dispute Turns Deadly, Leaving Five Dead and Seven Injured**
A violent clash over land in Badin district has resulted in the tragic deaths of five people, with seven others injured. The incident occurred in Angaro Khaskhelly village, near Khorwah town, where two groups from the Khaskhelly and Rahmoon communities engaged in a brutal shootout.
According to police sources, the two groups, armed with firearms, sticks, and axes, clashed over a disputed piece of land. The confrontation quickly escalated, resulting in five immediate fatalities and leaving seven injured, three of whom are in critical condition.
A heavy contingent of police rushed to the scene, cordoned off the area, and additional police forces have been dispatched.
All injured and deceased were taken to Golarchi Hospital.
The deceased identified are Anwar, Madad Ali, Muhammad Siddique, Abdul Majeed and Ahmed.
The Injured are Gul Hassan, Muhammad Juman, Yousuf, Meenhan Wasayo, Ghulam Muhammad, Wahid Bux and Gulsher.
Sindh’s Chief Minister, Murad Ali Shah, has strongly condemned the incident and demanded a comprehensive report from the I.G. Police Sindh. He stressed the need for strict legal action to prevent further incidents and called for the immediate arrest of those responsible. “Regretfully, people don’t avoid bloodletting in this holy and blessed month,” the Chief Minister stated.
Provincial Home Minister Zia ul Hassan Lanjar also requested a detailed report of incident from SSP Badin, and ordered police to take action to arrest those involoved.
He also pushing a need for action against anyone spreading terror and fear.
