KP Police Kill Three Terrorists in Bannu, Charsadda Operations

**PESHAWAR:** Three terrorists were killed in separate operations by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police in Bannu and Charsadda.

In Bannu, two terrorists involved in the attack on Constable Arman were killed. The slain terrorists were identified as Hakimullah (alias Shoaib), deputy commander of the Ibrahim Zarar group, and his accomplice.

A separate police encounter in Charsadda resulted in the death of a most-wanted terrorist named Javed. Police recovered a hand grenade, pistol, safety fuse, and other explosive materials from his possession. The eliminated terrorist was reportedly wanted in cases of murder, attempted murder, and target killing.

KP Inspector General of Police (IGP) Zulfiqar Hameed praised the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and police for their performance, announcing a reward for the officers involved. IGP Hameed commended the police personnel, stating, “The police officers have made the nation proud.”

Earlier report shows that at least three were shot dead and nine others injured in a firing incident in Bannu. The Aman (Peace) committee office was attacked and Eight attackers were also injured when the Aman Committee member opened firing in retaliation.

On December 27, two assailants were killed in an exchange of gunfire with police in Bannu, with one policeman sustaining injuries. The killed militants were identified as brothers Ajmer and Bhutto. another attack by militants, one cop was martyred in Bannu, On Dec 25.
