**Mustafa Amir Murder: Accused Refuses Confession**

**KARACHI:** In a Saturday court hearing for the Mustafa Amir murder case, prime suspect Armaghan was brought before the Judicial Magistrate-South to provide a confessional statement. However, Armaghan refused to confess, leading the court to dismiss the petition for a confessional statement under section 164.

The court stated that a statement under section 164 could not be recorded due to the accused’s mental state.

While Armaghan initially claimed he killed Mustafa Amir over a personal dispute, stating it was a “sudden act” and not pre-planned, he later retracted his confession. He told that court going to gail, whether or not he confess the crime.

“I don’t want confess any crime,” accused Armaghan said. He further claimed, “Police has used ‘black magic’ on me, owing to which I feel pain in the body.”

He then contradicted his initial statement, claiming, “I didn’t kill Mustafa Amir, left him in the car only to set the front portion of the vehicle on fire. I had left the matter of Mustafa Amir to God.” Moments later, he added, “It was in his fate to die, I had a little part in it.”

Mustafa Amir was kidnapped and allegedly murdered by his friends in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA) on January 6th. Police report that his friends stuffed his body in the trunk of his car and set it ablaze in the Hub area of Balochistan.

The case continues to draw significant attention, with recent updates focusing on the prime suspect, Armaghan. Investigators are looking into his business dealings, digital currency accounts, and other relevant activities.
