**FIA Arrests Suspect for Sharing AI-Generated Images of Govt Officials**
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Circle Multan arrested a suspect on Saturday for creating and sharing AI-generated images and videos of government officials and state institutions.
The accused, Ghulam Nabi, was apprehended during a raid in Sadiqabad. According to an FIA spokesperson, Nabi was involved in an “anti-state campaign,” using artificial intelligence to manipulate images and videos of political and government figures. The intent was to damage their reputations.
The suspect allegedly shared the misleading content, which depicted high-ranking officials, on social media.
The FIA has registered a case against Nabi and seized his social media accounts and other digital evidence. Further investigations are ongoing.
