**Sindh Announces Another Public Holiday After Eid-ul-Fitr**

The Sindh government has declared April 4th as a public holiday across the province. This day marks the death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the founder of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

According to a notification, all government offices, autonomous bodies, and educational institutions under the provincial government’s administrative control will be closed on Friday, April 4th.

This public holiday comes shortly after the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, which conclude on April 2nd in Sindh.

Earlier, on March 23rd, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was posthumously awarded the Nishan-e-Pakistan, the country’s highest civil award, during a Pakistan Day ceremony at the Presidency. President Asif Ali Zardari presented the award to Bhutto’s daughter, Sanam Bhutto. Bhutto’s grandson, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, granddaughter Aseefa Bhutto, and Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gillani, among others, were also in attendance.

Bhutto led Pakistan during a critical period in its history, following the fall of Dhaka in 1971. He was ousted from government in a military coup in July 1977 and executed on April 4, 1979, in a controversial murder case.
