**Five Passengers Dead as Vehicle Plunges into Gorge in AJK**

A tragic accident in Haveli, Azad Kashmir, has claimed the lives of five people, with four others injured. A passenger vehicle reportedly slipped on an icy road and fell into a deep gorge.

Rescue sources stated that the vehicle was traveling from Rawalpindi to Kahuta when the incident occurred. The deceased and injured have been transported to a nearby hospital.

This incident follows another devastating accident where a passenger bus carrying wedding guests fell into a river after veering off the Thalichi Bridge. In that tragedy, 26 people died, with only the bride surviving. search operation, local, rescue team and police recoverd the 14 bodies and shifted to Astore District Headquarter (DHQ) Hospital.
The vehicle was also retrieved from river.

Home Minister Shams Lone, statted “Initial investigations suggest that the tragedy occurred due to the vehicle’s loss of control on the slippery surface of the Thalichi Bridge.
