**Balochistan Govt to Take Action Against Employees Involved in Anti-State Narrative**
The Balochistan government has announced its intent to take strict action against government employees found to be involved in anti-state propaganda and activities.
In a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, and attended by IG Balochistan and the Chief Secretary, the focus was placed on the province’s law and order situation.
CM Bugti directed commissioners and district officers to initiate immediate action against any government employee participating in anti-state narratives, propaganda, or activities. He further stated that individuals identified as anti-state elements would be placed on the Fourth Schedule, subjecting them to close monitoring.
The meeting also highlighted the significance of promoting national unity. All educational institutions across the province are required to hoist the national flag and recite the national anthem. CM Bugti emphasized that the heads of institutions failing to comply with these directives should resign.
Additionally, the Chief Minister issued a strong warning against extortion at security checkpoints. Any SHO or Levies officer found responsible for such practices, following verified complaints, will face termination.
CM Bugti acknowledged that some Baloch youth are being misled into conflict, and the government is actively working to prevent this.
Previously, President Asif Ali Zardari, during a meeting focused on Balochistan’s law and order situation, reiterated the government’s commitment to defeating terrorist elements and ensuring lasting peace and development in the region. He had also pointed out that terrorist wanted to divide the nation.
The meeting that President Asif Ali Zardari had chaired saw presence of Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Acting Governor Balochistan Captain (retd) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, IG Police Moazzam Jah Ansari and many officials.
