**COAS, Bahrain National Guard Commander Discuss Regional Security**
General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Isa Bin Salman, Commander of the National Guard of the Kingdom of Bahrain, met with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.
The meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, the overall regional security situation, and ways to bolster bilateral military cooperation between the two nations.
COAS Asim Munir emphasized the importance of increased collaboration to tackle shared security challenges, contributing to regional peace and stability.
The visiting Bahraini commander praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and their dedicated efforts in the fight against terrorism.
Prior meeting, Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) of the Maldives Armed Forces, Major General Ibrahim Hilmy, also visited COAS General Syed Asim Munir at GHQ. That meeting covered mutual interests, including bilateral defense cooperation and regional security, highlighting the strong bonds of brotherhood and shared perspectives between Pakistan and the Maldives.
