JI Calls for Nationwide Protests Against Israeli Actions, US Support in Gaza

**JI Announces Nationwide Protest Against Israeli Terrorism in Gaza**

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has called for nationwide protests on Friday, March 21st, to condemn the ongoing Israeli atrocities in Gaza and the US support.

JI chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman announced that simultaneous protests will be held across the country to denounce the Israeli actions in Palestine.

He highlighted the extreme violence perpetrated by what he termed “Zionists” in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of over 48,000 people, including women and children, with millions injured. He also noted that thousands remain trapped under rubble.

The JI chief emphasized the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, citing severe shortages of food and medical supplies.

Rallies are planned in cities and towns across the country, with JI urging widespread public participation.

Recent Israeli airstrikes have intensified the conflict, with Palestinian health authorities reporting over 400 deaths on Tuesday. The attacks, which targeted homes and tent encampments across the Gaza Strip, followed stalled ceasefire talks.

Hamas accused Israel of undermining mediation efforts, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated the strikes were in response to Hamas rejecting ceasefire proposals and vowed to escalate military action.
