**JUI-F Leader Hafiz Hussain Ahmed Passes Away in Quetta**
Senior Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) leader, Hafiz Hussain Ahmed, has passed away in Quetta.
His son, Munir Ahmed, reported that Hafiz Hussain Ahmed had been battling kidney disease for a prolonged period.
JUI-F confirmed his passing on their official social media account. The family indicated that details about his funeral prayer will be shared later.
Hafiz Hussain Ahmed had a distinguished political career, serving twice as a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan (2002-2007 and 1988-1990) and as a Member of the Senate of Pakistan (March 1991 to March 1994).
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his deep sorrow over the passing of the JUI-F leader and senior politician.
In a condolence message, the Prime Minister prayed for the departed soul and for strength for the bereaved family. He emphasized that the entire nation shares in the family’s grief.
The Prime minister called attention to Hafiz Hussain Was political mind.
“Hafiz Hussain Ahmed was a seasoned politician. The entire nation stands in solidarity with the bereaved family in this hour of grief,” the prime minister remarked.
