**MPA Jam Mehtab’s Vehicle Attacked in Ghotki**
A vehicle in the convoy of Sindh Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar was attacked in Ghotki.
The incident occurred when unknown assailants opened fire on the MPA’s convoy in the Khenjo area. The attack resulted in the death of his guard and injuries to three others.
Police officials confirmed the death of the MPA’s guard and the injuries to the three other individuals. A significant police contingent was dispatched to the scene following the attack.
Earlier, at least six were killed, included three FC peronnel in BLA’s suicide blast targeting a Frontier Corps (FC) convoy in Naushki, Balochistan.
Security source said that the blast occured when a suicide bomber exploded himself near the FC convoy. Security forces respondend promptly, killing three terrorists in the ensuing operation, in adddition to suicide bomber.
Security sources revealed that security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a clearance operation to ensure no terrorists escape. All escape routes have been blocked, and the operation will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.
Previously, a policeman was killed, and six others were injured in a roadside blast in Quetta on Saturday.
Police reported that the incident took place on Barori Road in the Karani area. A vehicle belonging to the Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) was on patrol when the blast occurred nearby.
The explosion injured seven ATF personnel, who were subsequently taken to a hospital. One of the injured security officers later died from his injuries.
