**Mustafa Amir Case: Armaghan’s Father Facilitated Weapons Purchase**
Kamran Qureshi, the father of Armaghan, the primary suspect in the Mustafa Amir murder case, has been arrested for allegedly purchasing the weapons used in the crime.
The Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) apprehended Qureshi at his Karachi residence. DIG CIA Muqaddas Haider stated that Qureshi’s arrest stemmed from a police encounter during a raid at his home and that he would also be questioned about potential involvement in drug-related activities.
Earlier, police raided Armaghan’s home, leading to a shootout where Armaghan injured a DSP and a constable while resisting arrest.
Interrogation of Armaghan revealed that his father, Kamran Qureshi, purchased the “modern weapons” used in the incident from Peshawar. Police also recovered footage from Qureshi’s phone showing him inspecting a pistol during the transaction.
Qureshi also admitted that some weapons were supplied to Armaghan by an associate named Bilal Tension. A specialized police unit will continue the investigation.
Earlier court proceedings revealed a strained relationship between Armaghan and his father. A heated argument between the two led to Kamran Qureshi being escorted out of the courtroom by police officers by court order. Armaghan’s lawyer denied representing him in court, and Armaghan stated he had no relationship with his father.
