The district administration of Peshawar has enacted a ban on the sale and purchase of toy guns and firecrackers within the city, as reported by ARY News.

This prohibition, enforced under Section 144, is intended to uphold law and order during the approaching Eid festivities.

The administration has stated that the ban is crucial to avert potential disruptions and safeguard public safety. Consequently, the sale and purchase of toy guns and firecrackers are strictly forbidden, and individuals found in violation will be subject to legal action under Section 188.

Stringent measures will be taken against anyone discovered selling or buying these items, especially during the Eid celebrations, the administration has cautioned.
