**President Ensures Sustainable Peace, Development in Balochistan**

President Asif Ali Zardari has firmly reiterated the government’s commitment to eradicating terrorism and fostering lasting peace and development in Balochistan.

Chairing a high-level meeting on the law and order situation in Quetta, President Zardari highlighted the significant threat posed by terrorists seeking to destabilize the nation. The meeting was attended by prominent figures including PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Acting Governor Balochistan Captain (retd) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, and IG Police Moazzam Jah Ansari. Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti provided a briefing on the province’s security situation.

“The situation is clear, the state will continue to exist and we will have to win war against terrorism,” President Zardari declared. He emphasized the government’s plan to equip the anti-terrorism wing with the latest weaponry.

The President expressed a deep commitment to Balochistan, emphasizing the need for development and lasting peace. He articulated a vision where every child in Balochistan is enrolled in school and has access to modern technology.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has also echoed this sentiment, urging national unity in combating terrorism. He called for a collective effort, transcending political divides, to achieve victory against terrorism. He lauded the sacrifices of security forces and expressed optimism for Pakistan’s future as a peaceful nation, highlighting the resolve of injured personnel he met during a visit to CMH Quetta.
