**Deadly IED Blast in Quetta Claims Policeman’s Life, Injures Six**
A tragic roadside bomb blast in Quetta has resulted in the death of a policeman and injuries to six others. The incident occurred on Barori Road in the Karani area, targeting a vehicle of the Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) during a patrol.
The explosion injured seven ATF personnel, who were immediately transported to a nearby hospital. Sadly, one officer succumbed to his injuries. Security forces swiftly responded, securing the area to initiate an investigation.
Meanwhile, train operations in Quetta Division remain suspended due to security concerns. This disruption follows a recent, horrific attack on the Jaffar Express. Bolan Mail’s departure has been cancelled, and full refunds are offered to affected passengers. The Pak Business and Shah Hussain Express trains are also suspended, and the passengers will be accommodated on the Karakoram and Karachi Express trains.

The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, confirmed that all 33 terrorists were killed and 21 passengers and 4 FC personnel lost their lives. The operation was carried out in phases, ensuring no hostages were harmed. Area checks and train inspection by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) are still ongoing.
