**All Parties Join Hands to Fight Terrorism, Says Murad Ali Shah**
Sindh’s Chief Minister, Murad Ali Shah, stated on Sunday that a united front among all political parties is necessary to combat terrorism.
Speaking to the media during a visit to Mazar-e-Quaid on Pakistan Day, Shah emphasized the importance of collective action against terrorism.
He expressed regret over the PTI’s boycott of the parliamentary committee session on national security, noting that the PTI’s founder had also frequently been absent from such sessions during his own government.
Shah further commented that the forces behind terrorism are no secret.
Addressing the controversial issue of canal construction from the Indus River, the Chief Minister reiterated the People’s Party’s firm stance against such projects.
He had previously vowed to protect Sindh’s water rights, highlighting the scarcity of water even for Sindh’s fertile lands and questioning the rationale behind building new canals. “We are protectors of the Indus River,” he stated, emphasizing that Sindh will not compromise on its water share.
